<description>Thanks for your comment! Manipulation is part of physical therapy treatment. Because the pathophysiological changes are different from other musculoskeletal conditions affecting the shoulder, and the variation in presentation throughout the phases of adhesive capsulitis- many patients need manipulation or joint mobilization during their course of care. Unfortunately, this condition goes undiagnosed or untreated well into the second phase of its progression and that is when we see patients needing a larger amount of joint specific manual techniques.
Ideally, patients would see their primary care physician, or their primary care physical therapist for early diagnosis where there is a possibility of keeping the progression at bay and maintaining good function.
This is the nice part of physical therapy; the integration of exercises, hands on techniques addressing soft tissue, joints, etc, trigger point dry needling, osteopathic manipulations, pilates, and so much more. We also readily use taping in our practice; athletic and RockTape. This is particularly effective with shoulder patients.

Thanks again!

<description>While frozen shoulder manipulation and physical therapy look equally important, physical therapy outshines frozen shoulder manipulation method because in either case physical therapy will be needed in the end. Thanks.
